I'm excited to announce my weekend landscape course, at the outstanding studios of Workshops in Yorkshire, Skipton. 8th/9th November 2025.
In this two day workshop, you will complete a landscape in oils studying an old master painting. You will be taught within the professional and inspiring studio surroundings in the centre of Skipton at Workshops in Yorkshire.
Using an extended limited palette, you will learn to develop your skills in composition and design, the observation of light and shadow, and how to capture a space and depth within a landscape painting. There will be an emphasis on colour and atmosphere within the natural landscape. We’ll be taking inspiration from the romantic and realist landscape painters such as Isaac Levitan, Corot, and Constable.
