On Saturday 20th February, I will be demonstrating how to paint the still life in oils. 

I will show the process of completing an alla prima painting in 3 hours. Here is what you will learn...

- Setting up the still life, understanding composition and light. 

- Materials and colour palette.

- Drawing and the underpainting. 

- The block in and colour design. 

- Colour mixing methods and the control of colour.

- Transitions of light and shadow.

- Finding a focal point, understanding highlights and accents.

- Brushwork and paint application

I will be teaming up with the hosts at Raze Tattoo Studio.
