Join me in this full day workshop in landscape painting, at Settle Drill Hall on Saturday 18th July 2026, 10am - 4pm.
 
You will learn and develop your skills in landscapes using oil paints. Working from a reference image, we will focus on composition, design, colour, and achieving a sense of depth within the painting. This will also give you skills to paint 'en plein air' from life, as well as painting at home or in the studio. 
 
The workshop is suitable for beginners and those with some experience who wish to refresh or practice further. There will be short demos and 1-1 guidance throughout. 
 
Location: Settle Scouts Drill Hall, BD24 9HA
 
Time: 10am - 4pm
 
Materials I'll provide: Easels, boards, canvas paper, oil paints, gamsol, tear-off Palettes. 
 
Materials You'll Need: Brushes, a variety of hog bristle and synthetic of various sizes. Everything else is provided but you may bring along anything of your own if you wish.
